♡KEY POINTS ON HOW TO MAKE AMAZING NAIL VIDEO TUTORIALS:♡

♥ Camera/lens:
– I film my videos with a Nikon D5300 camera:
– Nikkor 85mm f/3.5G AF-S DX ED VR lens:
– BUT it doesn't necessarily matter what brand of camera you use (Nikon, Canon, etc.), what matters more is the lens and that you know how to USE it 😉
– (this video was shot with a Canon Powershot S110 point-and-shoot – )

♥ Tripod:
– MeFoto travel tripod kit A0350 (table-top and extendable) = good metal tripod –
– Optex T120 minipro tabletop tripod = crappy plastic tripod

♥ Lighting:
– 2 x 5200k 28W compact fluorescent lighting (CFL) bulbs from your local photography store, screwed into two regular desk lamps

♥ Editing software:
– iMovie for Mac (v. 10 or higher)
– There are alternative programs for Windows PC, just Google it!
– Don't use an app to edit your video, apps suck

♥ Exporting videos:
– Exports from iMovie as .mp4 file, compatible on all social media for sharing
– HD 720 or higher, but larger file sizes may be too big to send to yourself to email to easily post on Instagram
– I have been told that Android phones kill video quality when uploading through the IG app, sorry Androiders 🙁
